Mobile Spray Tanning | Chichester
Moisturise everyday, concentrating on the dry areas like hands, elbows, knees and feet.
Shave any desired areas. Any lash or brow treatment to be done 48 hours before the tan.
Exfoliate your skin, make sure any old tan is completely scrubbed off and paint your nails.
Make sure you are free of deodorant, makeup, perfume, and lotions (they can react with the tan causing the colour to go green!) Take a shower around an hour beforehand. Have loose dark clothing, a t-shirt dress or satin/silk dressing gown for after.
Wear loose, dark clothing to avoid marks or rubbing.
Stay cool — avoid sweating or exercising, as heat and moisture can cause patchiness.
Keep your skin dry — water, rain, or spills can lead to streaks.
Be mindful when brushing your teeth or using the loo!
Try not to touch your skin while the tan is developing. Tan on your hands = giveaway.
Keep the tan on for at least 8 hours so the tan is fully developed. You may notice the tan has ‘collected’ in some areas. Don’t worry, this will wash away. You can shower with soapy water.
Keep the tan on for 1-4 hours as recommended. Wash the tan off with water only, until it runs clear. Don’t panic - you won’t be tanned just yet! It takes 8 hours to develop fully.
Avoid using a loafer or scrubbing when showering. Any friction on the skin will cause the tan to come off quicker.
Avoid swimming pools as the chlorine or salt causes the tan to fade.
Moisturise daily! But, avoid oils, creams with oil in or ones that are highly perfumed.
Facial tan tends to fade faster due to skincare use. Use a tanning face mist around day 3 or 4 to keep your complexion looking fresh.
